Seongeun Choi

Hello, I’m Seongeun Choi, an International Studies student at Hanyang University with a minor in Industrial Engineering. I am passionate about investment and capital allocation, particularly how long-term capital can support strategic industries and contribute to Korea’s growth and global competitiveness.

My long-term goal is to become an LP who identifies and supports exceptional investors, companies, and industries with the potential to create lasting economic value. During my internship at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, I had the opportunity to observe how global financial markets affect the Korean economy from a policymaker’s perspective, which further shaped my interest in how markets, policy, and capital interact.

HerVest’s value of “paying it forward” strongly resonates with me, as much of my own growth has come through the generosity, advice, and opportunities shared by others. I hope to carry that spirit forward by learning from and building meaningful relationships with women across the investment industry.
